TRIP TO PULAU UBIN

with secondary school clique!

6 SEPTEMBER 2008

While waiting for the rest (taking public transport) to arrive, we stopped by some place where there are large aeroplanes flying over our heads.

The sun was burning me into ashes. I don't want to be any tanner! I hid in spots which the sunlight doesn't directly shine on. In other words, SHADE.

and do you know that over exposure of sun will lead you to a drastic increase of wrinkles and dehydration of face? As long as there's sun, I will find all means to avoid it. I don't want wrinkles at the age of 30! It's good to practice applying anti-wrinkle cream before they appear. Well, that's what I'm doing now! No harm being kiasu for the sake of BEAUTY!

Once again, the sun doesn't look as scorching as it seems in this photo. I could experience the impact of GLOBAL WARMING.

There's a woman in his 50s seated beside him. She started to strike a conversation with ZH. Being a soft-spoken person, his replies were short and curt.

She asks:

All from your university? (I wish it was a YES but it is totally a NO. )

These are what I overheard. Then I decided not to stay in the boat and hang outside for some fresh breeze :)

At the end of the boat ride, the mysterious woman gave him a $50 note!

Mysterious Woman said "Narh. You students can use this money and have fun at Pulau Ubin."

Some of us commented the woman was mesmerised by ZH's beauty and aura. I wished I could do that too! I would not have to work! Nor study!

Of course, we returned the note to the mysterious woman but she insist giving us the $50 note. (come to think of it. Is the note REAL?) Everything lasted about 10 minutes. We, trying to slot the note in mysterious woman's handbag.

Indeed, she had no choice but to take back what she owns.

After probably 30 to 45 mins of cycling, we stopped over for a break :)

At 4 plus, we had our lunch. HAH. lunch. It was a cosy lunch. Reminds me of chalet where 15 or so of us sat at the round table and scoop our food. :) Just like a big family. HAH.

The coconut drink was rather awful. Then, I realised something. 100plus never taste this good!

HAH! I've known her since Primary 1! It's gonna be 14 years of friendship. Still so sweet!

We saw a couple of these crabs. Not sure of the breed. Let's call it "HumJi-crab."

It's response to us is similar to how we respond to hantu.

Then we saw the slimmy mudskipper! A couple of them too!

We went up. Ok. Most of them. I decided to reserve my energy to cycle back to the bicycle rental shop.
