It's Friday the 30th!

Family is returning from Taiwan TOMORROW!

Sis called me about 3 times and msn me several times to update me about their trip.

On the 2nd day of their trip, I smsed my sister to buy me a BLACK bag from Taiwan. She replied chirply "SURE MY SISTER!"

Yesterday on msn, she told me "My sister! I bought a WHITE bag for you! I find it simple and nice! I think you'll like it".

Oh god. Another White bag. I replied, "I requested a black bag my sister.....But it's okay :) "

And my brother seems to be interested in a girl in their tour group!
I was very shocked when I heard this because he's more of the DOTA, (gaming) type since young.

She's 1 year younger than my brother and looks like ELVA! My sister told me he looked at that "ELVA" from the corner of his eyes when she wore bikini at the Wen Quan (What do you call that? Steam. Something). Then he turned back to look at my sister and said "You're fat like a pig."

Well, that's my brother.

They went to a feng shui master in Taiwan (who viewed Singapore's IR's Feng Shui) to predict our lives. From my date of birth and timing, he predicted something which I've not heard for the first time. Several people looked at me (or my DOB for this case) , mentioned the same thing about my future. It's something positive. :) Very positive. YAY.

Here's a picture of Mummy and Daddy on their way to Taipei.

Mummy ain't sad.

They look like dumplings. HEE! =)

This is the loneliest Chinese New Year I have ever had.

Everyone is busy with exams, my family is on a holiday. All I can do this festive season is to revise at home. Other than that, I still have to revise at home. I really deplore exams. I would rather have projects than to have exams.

Projects = Copy and paste info from internet and edit a little to make sense.
Exams = Freaking memorise every shit from your notes and one day DIE from memorising.

I hope 13 Feb 11am arrives asap. I need this burden to be lifted!!!!!!!

TO HELL WITH EXAMS!

I woke up this morning at 5:30am to see my parents off for Taiwan.

It's 1:22pm now. They are probably in Taiwan now.
Going for Hot Spring, shopping and eating at the genuine ShiLin Market.
Exploring almost the entire Taiwan and Taipei.

Sis told me their Pearl Milk Tea is incomparable to Singapore's Pearl Milk Tea. When she took a sip of it on her first trip to Taiwan 1 or 2 years ago, she exclaimed in delight "IT'S FUCKING GOOD." (She seldom curse though.)

This morning, she told me "you ought to drink the Nai Cha. I'll be bringing this thermal bottle or something like that, and I'll ta bao the Nai Cha for you. "

WOOSH! All the way from Taiwan!

Alright. I have to revise for my exams now. I can put my mind at ease because I will not have anymore presentation for the rest of the year! I'll be having my attachment for the whole 6 months next semester.
Means I can't see the bimbotic Narisa in school.
Means I can't fruit juice from North Canteen.
Means I can't get my papa mama to long-bang me to school.

IT ALSO MEANS

I won't get to see the printing lady who charge me for a blank piece of paper for the umpteenth time.
I won't get to see the yellow-shirt scary looking guy in my school who goes around taking pictures discreetly.

Alrighto. I really have to continue my revision for exams.
Hope my family members will take care of themselves there. It's 5 degrees in Taiwan!

Everytime I thought of myself enjoying in Taiwan, I told myself.

I can go Taiwan anytime in the future. But I only can take this exam ONCE.
Eliza! You have made the right choice! Good job Eliza. :D

Congrats to fellow mates who have been accepted by Accor Hospitality Group for attachment next semester!

Yesterday, it was the MOU signing ceremony between my school and Accor. And we have to help out at the event!
My duties were to:
  • open doors
  • close doors
  • sms ShuHuei to open food covers.
  • mingle with the NYP staffs (including Principal / CEO of NYP and Accor staffs (Including the Accor General Manager (Asia)!)

There were an unreasonable number of awkward moments while having conversation with the staffs. I prefer to eat the leftover refreshment (which looks untouched) outside the cocktail reception room.

Fried tempura prawn, drumstick, mee siam, siew mai, satay. WAH! SHIOK!

While having our lunch on the sheltered benches between Block C and D, we spot the SCARY-YELLOW-SHIRT guy. He's obviously taking pictures or video using his handphone camera but he tried not to get caught.

He just don't look normal.

He gives the pervertic look.

We suspect he took photos of one of my pretty classmate who sat on another table. Now we have phobia of guys wearing yellow T-shirt.

My classmates!

I stood outside the conference room doors for 45 minutes before the VIPs arrived.
CEO / Principal of my school,
Deputy Principal,
Manager of SBM
Director of SBM / SEG / all other schools...
Accor directors, general manager. etc.

Here's us with our PEM! Ms Gan!

We were all prepared for the ceremony and we had nothing to do!
So we decided to have PHOTOTAKING with our tutors / lecturers!
Here's the most humourous teacher ever. Mr Choo. He describe the wine bottle's slope as Tom Cruise Shoulders and his shoulders.

We were told to wear white long sleeves shirt and black skirts but coincidentally, we all wore the same thing. Almost :D

Here's my lecturer/tutor , Pang Pang, who is equally funny.

Pang pang: The Ah Meng is DEAD.
Classmate: Mr Pang! It's PASSED AWAY.
Pang pang: Dead.
He said he is 186cm! and Alex (a.k.a. Mr Choo) said he is 10 cm shorter. HAH!

Irene: I want to take a full body photo!
As Elinda points and walks pass the camera and her.

IRENE!

Miss TEEEE!!!!!!!! She's married with a son though. Super cute son.
I pray hard I wont tio Housekeeping in any of the 6 months.
Omithofu.

Thanks dickhead for that wonderful meal yesterday :D

It's Superhost practical!

WINE TASTING SESSION
!

We tasted

  • White wine
  • Red wine
  • champange
  • Rose wine (I can't do the ACCENT for the 'e' with my laptop's keyboard.)
  • Dessert wine

For each wine, there are two flavours. So for the champange and dessert wine, I had two servings.

So in all, each of us took about 3 FULL glasses of wine.

NONE OF US WERE DRUNK.

But there were a few from my class and from my lecture group who had ang ku kueh faces. Nat's face were so red after tasting the red wine.

Red wine was the SECOND DRINK of that day!

Rose and White wine :)

We were taught how to

  1. UNDERSTAND the labels on the wine bottle
  2. OPEN the wine bottle using the cork opener
  3. OBSERVE the colour, the legs (density), the bubbles in champange
  4. SMELL the scent
  5. TASTE the wine

We were told to write down our observation

Our wine 'trainer' for that day was our lecturer / tutor, Alex! He's a really really humourous person. A pity that he won't be teaching us for my final year!

Here's Natalie Koh SY with her ANG KU KUEH face :) She looked 'redder' in real life!

Super RED, Super White and Super black. :(
Super White felt a bit giddy after the drinking session. I bet she's not the only one!

Nat's ANG ANG EARS.

With White Demon at Bishan.

PASSPORT PHOTOS OF:
  • Super Red
  • Super White
  • Super Old
  • Super Black
  • Super HIGH~~~

The Accor Inerview was easier than I thought. The Universal Studio Interview was the most difficult one I have ever had!
ON THE CONTARY, I am sure I am not outstandingly good. Thus, I know I wont get into Accor. It's okay. There are many opportunities out there for grab!

Eliza has choosed not to waste her time and free sms to quarrel with a gayshit.
She has better things to do like staring into the space.
At least this is more meaningful that arguing with a gayshit.

ANYWAYS,

Time flies and it's January! Soon, it'll be April and it'll be our Birthdays!
On the other hand, I might be able to celebrate it because my 6 months attachment starts on 1st March 2009!

Hope I can work in the Accor Group
3 hotels within 6 months! AWESOMENESS!
It will reflects greatly on my resume.
That's my bro. He wants to take photo with the pokemon bag!

I'm so ill today.

But I still have to complete my projects.

I woke up early in the morning to compile and edit.

Being a kiasu group member, it's another week till deadline and I'm completing my D.A.M. project! YAY.
Tyng and I has one thing in common.
WE HATE GAYS :)
guess we're not the only ones! HAHAHHA!

9 January 2009

It's Siying's Birthday! But we had a early celebration last week.

On that night, it was also my uncle (from KL) and my cousin's birthday!

Then then decided to celebrate it at my cousin's boyfriend's restaurant. He's one of the partners of the restaurant, come out with the menu, etc.

The restaurant name is Shin-kushiya and they have a few branches in Singapore.
Sounds like the guy is a good catch!

The ambience of the restaurant is so LOR-mantic.
The food is one of the best Japanese food I've ever tasted.
Very friendly staff too.

THIS IS THE THIRD DISH OF THE DAY.
SASHIMIIIIIIII~~~~~~~~~~!!!
My favorite Salmon Sashimi. Look at its thickness!

Also part of the third dish. :)

The 4th or 5th dish.

From the menu, it reads pig skin but no one believe me. I hope I misread it. It tasted like CALAMARI. And FREAKING AWESOME.

I don't know what's the filling but it is deliciousssssssss~

Tempura.

Beer, Miso Soup and Green Tea.

Daddy got very high after drinking a lot of SAKE. hahahaha...

Sis and another cousin.

There was a group of about 20 odd people and the restaurant was filled with our laughter and voices. We had ice cream for desert.

Black sesame, Green Tea, Red bean, etc

Then we had the birthday song and cake and etc.

10 Jan 2009

It was my another cousin's wedding at Conrad! They were a gorgeous and really sweet couple. I don't have photos of them with me.

But my cousin and her husband were so sweet! The groom made a speech and end it with "This is the best decision of my life."

My cousin is slim and beautiful. Love her dresses!

*****I WROTE A LONG PARAGRAPH AND IT'S ALL GONE. FUG IT.*****
In short, it was my first time attending a CHRISTIAN WEDDING.

I'm surprised when the crowd know when to say "AMEN" in unison. There wasn't any cue!

The female emces was the groom's close friend, Chen Diya, awarded the 2nd place in the Project Superstar. :) She sang some Christian songs during the cocktail reception and the singing session.

We were given the lyrics. My bro and my sis changed the lyrics of the songs and I shall not disclose it to prevent any dispute among religions. I have nothing against Christians. They are good people too :)

mummy and daddy :)

HAH! BYE!

I HAD A NIGHTMARE LAST NIGHT.

I was in a place full of people of all ages.
Beside me were two girls of my age and we seem to be like close friends.
I felt rather lost and decided to call my mother's workplace but no one answered the phone.

I started to panic.

Then, one of the middle age man standing 2 metres away from me said "I died because of a car accident"
I was astounded and I didn't respond to anything around me.
I stared into the space.

The girl beside me mentioned how she died and others mentioned how they died.

One of them asked me "How did you die?"

I just stared into the space and mumbled "I don't know."

I didn't want to know how I died.

One of the girl beside me told me to tie up my hair. I didn't want to because I'm afraid by looking at my neck, I will know how I die!

Did I commited suicide by hanging myself?

Strangled?

Slit on my throat?

Bullet through my throat?

I just shook my head when she presented me with a rubber band.

Then I decided to SMS my parents and toilet. (I told my mother this and she said "Woah. You have your handphone with you!)

Halfway through typing my message, one of them commented "Don't waste your time, your message can't be sent out." as he snatch my phone away from me.

MY OMNIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Then I was pushed into a room (I think to find out the cause of my death)
I fell onto the ground and I screamed my lungs out and..........

I saw myself in my bedroom. I'm awake. Thank god it's a nightmare. My family members are still with me. Holy ma ma.

I'm alive.

6 January 2009

A TRIP TO SINGAPORE ARTS MUSEUM for my project to critique an art piece.

MY GROUP MATES!
This magnificent art piece is made out of very realistic colour pencils, wooden pencils, mechanical pencils. There's my group member being FASCINATED. It look ultimately AWESOME in real life.
But I dont think we're going to critique that artwork. It's gorgeous but there doesnt seem to be a story behind it. The one we might be choosing has a long story behind it. :)

My group members! Yuwen, Shu Huei, Sofi and Sean is somewhere in the Museum.
and Shereen! We're in the museum!
4 other groups are present!
Weilun, Thomas, Fionne, Irene and Wanyi's GROUP!

Tan Woan Tyng, Eliza and SMU!!!!!!!!! I had this crazy idea to act as SMU student and walk around the school (with minimal chance of meeting DP!)

Eventually, I dropped this idea.
